Description

You will join a project team responsible for developing and maintaining solutions used in a business environment, with desktop test automation as the main area of the role. You are expected to design, develop, and maintain automated testing, especially for desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for desktop applications

• Create and develop automation frameworks and scripts

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios

• Prepare test cases and automation scenarios

• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests

• Analyze automated test results and identify/report defects

• Maintain and improve existing automated test suites

• Identify areas worth automating and propose improvements to the test process

• Participate in creating and improving quality standards and the QA process

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer/Tester

• Practical experience in automating desktop application tests (key requirement)

• Ability to create and maintain automated test scenarios

• Knowledge of at least one programming language used in test automation

• Experience preparing test scenarios and test cases

• Ability to analyze test results and diagnose problems

• Knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies

• Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git)
