Description

You will develop and maintain automation solutions using CI/CD practices, support a self-healing platform (including exploring AI-based solutions), and maintain technical documentation for automation and operations. The role includes advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting, investigating complex infrastructure issues, and implementing long-term fixes. You will collaborate with engineers and architects in a SAFe/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD-based automation solutions
• Support self-healing platform capabilities, including AI-based exploration and implementation
• Create and maintain technical documentation for automation processes and operational guidelines
• Work with engineering and architecture teams in a SAFe/Scrum environment
• Perform advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting
• Investigate complex infrastructure issues and deliver long-term solutions
• Identify process improvement opportunities and introduce innovative technical approaches

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Engine (GCE), including VMware-to-GCE migrations
• Practical knowledge of Red Hat Satellite, especially patch management and automation
• Strong Bash scripting skills
• Experience with dynamic languages such as Python or Perl
• Solid knowledge of Ansible and configuration management
• Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or newer
• Proficiency with Git and Jira
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex issues independently
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (required)
• RHCSA certification is welcome; alternatively, extensive practical experience with Red Hat environments will be considered
