Who are we?Lumicode Sp. z o.o. is part of the Pentacomp Group, which has been providing IT solutions and technology services to major enterprises and public sector institutions for nearly 30 years.We deliver projects that support our clients’ digital transformation by combining extensive experience with modern technologies.For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Linux Engineer.📍 Location: Warsaw🏢 Work model: Hybrid – 3 days per week from the office🔧 What will you be responsible for?Developing and maintaining automation solutions based on CI/CD practices and technologiesSupporting the development of self-healing platform capabilities, including the exploration and implementation of AI-based solutionsDesigning and maintaining clear technical documentation covering automation processes, procedures, and operational guidelinesWorking closely with engineers, architects, and other technical teams within a SAFe/Scrum environmentProviding advanced-level Linux administration and troubleshootingInvestigating complex infrastructure issues and implementing effective, long-term solutionsIdentifying opportunities for process improvement and introducing innovative technical approaches💻 What are we looking for?Essential technical experience:Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Engine (GCE), including VMware-to-GCE migrationsPractical knowledge of Red Hat Satellite, particularly in patch management and automationStrong Bash scripting skills and experience with dynamic programming languages such as Python or PerlSolid knowledge of Ansible and configuration management practicesExtensive experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or newerGood command of development and collaboration tools, including Git and JiraStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues independentlyNice to have:Experience with VMware virtualizationKnowledge of network administration and configurationFamiliarity with Windows/Linux system integration🎓 Certifications & methodologyRHCSA certification is welcome; alternatively, extensive practical experience with Red Hat environments will be consideredStrong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is requiredExperience with SAFe/Scrum will be an advantage🤝 What we valueA proactive and innovative approach to solving technical challengesAbility to suggest and implement improvements rather than simply maintain existing solutionsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a highly collaborative technical teamExperience operating in a SAFe/Scrum environmentAbility to create clear and understandable technical documentation for different audiences, including engineers, architects, and end users
