Description

You will help drive the future development of SAP enhancements and strengthen an internal SAP team. The role covers ownership of performant SAP backend services—especially OData and CDS-based interfaces—as well as frontend development for SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 apps, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and take responsibility for high-performance SAP backend solutions

• Expand and implement OData interfaces and build CDS Views using ABAP and ABAP OO

• Ensure a performant and reliable data foundation for apps and applications

• Contribute to the further development of the customer app and Fiori applications with external design and app development teams

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement backend functionality

• Design modern user interfaces and user experience; develop frontends with SAPUI5

• Apply modern SAP technologies and advance innovation, including SAP BTP and Fiori apps

• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into efficient, sustainable technical solutions

Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics or comparable qualification with SAP focus

• Practical experience supporting SAP systems

• Programming knowledge in ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views, and OData, plus experience with SAP Customizing/development beyond standard

• Experience in SAP modules RE/FX or PM is desirable (not mandatory)

• Fiori development experience is desirable (not mandatory)

• Fluent German language skills
