Description

You will drive the evolution of a design system for Informatica products, creating consistent, accessible UI standards across a suite of enterprise cloud data management products. You’ll deliver visual assets and component specifications, partner with UX and engineering teams to validate and ship solutions, and govern component usage documentation. You’ll also use AI-powered design tools (including Figma Make and generative AI) to prototype and extend design system components.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual assets (UI mockups, icons, illustrations) and component specifications to ensure consistency and accessibility.

• Collaborate with UX designers, visual design leads, and UI engineers to scale and ship responsive, accessible design solutions.

• Write and govern component usage documentation so teams can apply standards consistently.

• Use AI-powered design tools (Figma Make, generative AI, emerging prototyping tools) to prototype, animate, and extend components.

• Lead design standards adoption through design reviews, constructive feedback, and implementation support with dev and QA.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing user interfaces for enterprise web products with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual design craft and design system contribution.

• System-level thinking with deep knowledge of responsive, accessible, and inclusive design; ability to explain decisions in component guidelines and specs.

• Fluency in AI-assisted design workflows, including awareness of tools such as Claude, Figma Make, and generative AI.

• Understanding of component design and design tokens, and how design systems scale across teams.

• Experience writing or governing component usage documentation at scale.

• Strong visual design skills plus a design-related degree or design training.
