Description

You will take an expert role within the development team for operations, automation, and platform capabilities. The position includes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerizing and deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes, and applying GitOps and automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Own operations-, automation-, and platform-related expertise within the development team

• Collaborate closely with developers to optimize build, deployment, and release processes

• Build, operate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development projects

• Support containerization and deployment of applications using Docker and Kubernetes

• Introduce and apply GitOps and automation approaches

• Provide a standardized platform and deployment building blocks

• Implement Infrastructure as Code for reproducible environment provisioning

• Integrate security and quality checks into development and deployment processes

• Ensure stability, performance, and traceability through monitoring and logging

• Document DevOps standards, processes, and best practices

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a similar qualification

• Multi-year experience in DevOps or a comparable role at the development/operations interface

• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (ideally including Helm)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps)

• Hands-on automation and Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform or Ansible)

• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell

• Basic knowledge of Linux environments, networking, and security principles

• Team-oriented working style and strong communication; understanding of developer work
