Description

You will work closely with software developers to further develop and improve an existing cloud platform, including an IoT offering that enables remote monitoring and control. You will monitor and optimize multiple web services, support developers with infrastructure topics, and enable efficient Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. The role also includes implementing Infrastructure as Code to automate manual tasks.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience developing and operating cloud-native web applications and working with Python scripts

• Experience monitoring cloud services with Grafana and Prometheus and automated notification/alerting systems

• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform to drive reliability, security, and automation

• Deep understanding of Linux-based operating systems and common web service protocols

• Experience in designing, operating, monitoring, and backing up relational database clusters (time-series databases are a plus)

• Comprehensive experience with IaaS from public cloud providers, especially Azure (GCP or AWS acceptable)

• Creativity, teamwork, analytical thinking, and very good English written and spoken

• German knowledge is a plus
