Description

You will help build FinOps and cloud service management processes within a newly created Cloud Center of Excellence. The role combines cloud analytics with business collaboration to improve both cost efficiency and operational service quality in Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Microsoft Azure costs and identify optimization opportunities

  • Build and evolve FinOps practices including reporting, budgets, forecasts, cost allocation, and measuring impact

  • Prepare optimization recommendations and coordinate implementation with service owners and technical teams

  • Run recurring cost reviews with business, finance, and technology stakeholders

  • Manage a backlog of optimization initiatives and monitor results

  • Support standards for tagging, budgeting, reporting, and cost attribution

  • Analyze utilization of Azure Reservations, Savings Plans, and Azure Hybrid Benefit

  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service quality metrics

  • Review cloud services and align corrective actions with vendors and stakeholders

  • Create dashboards, reports, and decision-support materials

Requirements

  • Experience managing cloud service costs, budgeting, forecasting, and identifying optimization areas

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially Azure Cost Management & Billing, cost governance, and cost optimization mechanisms

  • Understanding of dependencies between cloud architecture, resource usage, and generated costs

  • Ability to analyze data, create reports and dashboards, and translate insights into business recommendations

  • Knowledge of KPIs, SLAs, service quality, and working with vendors and business stakeholders

  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, finance, and service owners to deliver data-driven solutions
