Description

You will develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, Sybase stored procedures, and Linux shell scripts. You will analyze change impacts, design test plans, follow best engineering practices, and document solutions. You will also support Production Support with complex troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries and Sybase stored procedures

• Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts

• Analyze change impacts on existing database architecture

• Design test plans and implement best engineering practices

• Create technical documentation

• Assist Production Support with complex troubleshooting

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on expert experience with T-SQL (Sybase) for database development and performance optimization

• Strong experience writing and maintaining Linux shell scripts

• Basic knowledge of (or willingness to quickly learn) Python

• Basic knowledge of (or willingness to quickly learn) WTX

• Basic knowledge of (or willingness to quickly learn) SAP Business Objects

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience working in global, cross-location teams
