Description

You will complete a dual 4.2-year program combining practice phases, tailored internal training, and academic studies at HTWK Leipzig (FH), supported by training centers. The integrated qualification prepares you for hands-on work in industrial automation and infrastructure systems.

The program covers project planning, hardware development, configuration of systems, commissioning, and work on smart factory and related automation with cloud connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Automate industrial processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and lower costs
• Learn engineering fundamentals in electrical and information technology (mathematics and core principles)
• Study microcomputer and automation technology plus solution-oriented software development
• Gain practical training in project planning, hardware development, and plant/system configuration
• Support commissioning of complex infrastructure systems and intelligent factory automation with cloud connectivity
• Optimize production equipment and contribute to networked control systems for building automation and robot-assisted manufacturing
