Description

You will combine academic study with practical training as an Information and System Electronics Technician. During lecture-free periods, you work on-site and develop prototype builds and unique devices. The program focuses on building electronic modules, programming microcontrollers, and assembling complete working systems.

Role description / Responsibilities

• Study Electrical and Information Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering) at Ostfalia University in Wolfenbüttel alongside apprenticeship training
• Work at PTB during lecture-free times and develop prototypes and unique solutions
• Build electronic assemblies
• Program microcontrollers
• Assemble and integrate components into functioning systems
• Be supported by experienced trainers who coach your technical and personal development

Requirements

• Abitur or Fachabitur
• Very good German language skills (C1)
• Strong interest in electrical engineering, computer science, and technical contexts
• Interest in software and modern technology
• Enjoy tinkering with electronic devices
• Curious, reliable, and motivated to learn
• Team-oriented with willingness to exchange ideas
