Description

You’ll complete a three-year apprenticeship focused on building and maintaining technical systems in areas such as security, ITK technology, and automation technology. The work includes outdoor assignments in station areas and near tracks, as well as working with network cabling from copper to fiber. You’ll also perform small installation tasks and learn by supporting service technicians on regional jobs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical systems for security, ITK technology, and automation technology
• Work with systems such as intrusion and fire alarm systems, video and public-address systems, displays, ticket machines, hot-runner localization, and radio technologies
• Perform work outdoors in all weather conditions (e.g., station grounds, track areas, signal boxes)
• Work with network technology from copper to fiber optics
• Carry out small installation tasks (minor assembly/mounting)
• Accompany service technicians on regional assignments to gain experience

Requirements

• School completed (soon) with a qualification recognized in Germany
• German at least B2
• Strong handcraft skills
• Interest in varied work
• Willingness to work independently and outdoors
• Team spirit and reliability
• Driving license class B (manual transmission) to be completed successfully soon
