Description

This role is for a Chief Engineering Manager supporting the PAC-3 Missile Integration Chief Engineer within the LTIAMD Evolutionary Development PAC-3 Integration Program Area. You will programmatically report to the PAC-3 Integration Program Area Chief Engineer and collaborate with the PAC-3 Fire Control Integration and PAC-3 Launcher Integration Chief Engineers to ensure synergy and to communicate lessons learned.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to achieve successful demonstration of program development milestones, including technical reviews with customer and subcontractors, system analyses, and software development.
  • Support Software Functional Qualification Test (FQT) and Functional Configuration Audit (FCA).
  • Communicate lessons learned and ensure synergy across tasks with the Chief Engineering staff.
  • Develop and execute detailed program plans, schedules, and trade-study analyses.
  • Lead or support customer briefings, weekly IPT status updates, Technical Interchange Meetings, Technical Readiness Reviews, and other critical program reviews.
  • Participate in Failure Review Boards, Risk Management, and Mission Success Reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
  • 10 years of experience
  • Familiarity and knowledge of the PAC-3 missile and associated systems, PAC-3 Systems and Software Engineering, PAC-3 Systems Engineering process, and PAC-3 Software Release processes
  • Demonstrated experience planning and leading technical solutions through development phases (SRR, PDR, CDR, qualification, V&V, FCA, transition to production)
  • Ability to plan and lead missile algorithm development, Agile software development, software qualification, and requirements verification/validation
  • Secret clearance with an investigation in the past five years
  • Ability to travel domestically potentially frequently
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues that could impede team success
