Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong educational background and relevant experience in the field. The ideal candidate will possess either a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in data science or a doctorate in Econometrics, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a similar area.

You will communicate fluently in English, with the ability to articulate complex AI or data science solutions clearly to various stakeholders, including management teams. Proficiency in Dutch or French is a significant advantage.

You should have hands-on experience with data analytics and be well-versed in tools used for statistical analysis, machine learning, and preferably Generative AI. A solid understanding of learning algorithms, data-processing strategies, machine learning, and natural language processing, along with their applications in a business setting, is essential.

Your programming skills in Python must be strong, particularly with data science toolsets such as pandas, scikit-learn, H2O, Hugging Face, or similar.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.
• Continuously improve processes and methodologies in data processing.

Key Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data science.

• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning tools.
• Knowledge of AI concepts and techniques.

Nice to Have

• Experience with learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms for big data analysis (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
• Knowledge of Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Previous business experience in data science.
