Quick Facts

Position Summary

Leads the Supply Chain Data Products & Analytics team serving the Supply Chain organization.

Role Description

The Manager owns the supply chain data product portfolio — governed, reusable analytical assets including inventory productivity and Economic Return on Inventory models, workforce capacity models, distribution network demand signals, and operational scorecards — that convert enterprise data into supply chain decisions with measurable financial outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

Data Product Ownership

  • Owns the supply chain data product catalog: definition, prioritization, development, versioning, and retirement of governed analytical assets serving Supply Chain functions, Supply Chain leadership, and enterprise finance stakeholders.
  • Directs closure of documented domain data engineering gaps in the enterprise lakehouse in partnership with the enterprise data platform organization.
  • Establishes data contracts, refresh standards, and quality thresholds for all production data products.

S/4HANA Analytical Continuity

  • Serves as the accountable owner for the supply chain analytical data layer and maps every production report and data product to its post-conversion data source before cutover.
  • Partners with the Business Integration function on system-of-record design decisions affecting downstream analytics; Business Integration owns system configuration and process design — this role owns the analytical consumption layer.

AI-Enabled Analytics & Workflow

  • Owns and evolves the team's automation and AI-assisted analytics portfolio, progressing from robotic process automation toward governed AI workflows within human-approved control boundaries and applicable enterprise standards.
  • Maintains a value ledger attributing realized savings and productivity hours to each deployed capability; no autonomous AI action on financial controls.

Decision Support

  • Delivers executive decision support: MSS Leadership Scorecard, Monthly Operating Review analytics, blocked invoice control monitoring against the SOX threshold, and CFO-level financial models.

Team Leadership & Capability Build

  • Leads, develops, and performance-manages a team of 4–5 professionals; executes the team's skills progression toward analytics engineering, AI engineering, and data product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, engineering, information systems, or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or supply chain decision support, including two or more years leading people or cross-functional delivery.
  • Demonstrated delivery of analytical products on a modern cloud data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent) with SQL fluency and working knowledge of data modeling.
