Description

You will serve as a strategic thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership, helping leaders make better decisions by turning complex and ambiguous questions into executive-ready narratives and actionable recommendations. The role balances analytical depth with speed, leading high-impact analyses, designing scalable analytics infrastructure, and leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate insight delivery.

Responsibilities

• Executive communication & storytelling: distill complex analyses into concise narratives for audiences from individual contributors to the CFO and executive leadership
• Strategic analytics & decision support: lead analyses to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations
• AI-enabled analytics: use modern AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and continuously evaluate and champion thoughtful AI adoption
• Business strategy: partner with decision makers to operationalize the strategic roadmap and quantify impact on growth, efficiency, and profitability
• Analytics infrastructure: design scalable analytical frameworks, reusable datasets, automated pipelines, and self-service reporting
• Influence without authority: build trusted relationships across Finance, Product, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to drive alignment and move initiatives to execution
• Execution & prioritization: manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize proactively, and navigate ambiguity

Requirements

• 8+ years in strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles (preferably D2C or fast-paced/high-growth tech, or consulting)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s a plus)
• Expert SQL required
• Experience with Python (preferred) or R
• Strong BI experience (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar (strongly preferred)
• Preferred: experience with Git and version-controlled analytics workflows / modern analytics engineering practices
• Big data fluency: comfortable with large, complex datasets and deriving insights at scale
• Business acumen: connect data to outcomes, make sound judgments with imperfect information, and recommend clear actions
• Exceptional communication: written/verbal; presenting to senior leaders
• Bias for action: thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments; strong prioritization

Salary

Base salary range: $150,000 - $200,000. Eligible for a performance bonus and extensive benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
