Description

This role supports the bank’s regulatory reporting for FRY 9C and Call Reports by managing and provisioning data used in external submissions. The position partners with Finance and Regulatory Reporting stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of data, and it manages data changes that impact regulatory reports, including controls, number validations, and ongoing data quality and risk management processes. The role emphasizes functional knowledge of regulatory data and reporting requirements, with a basic SQL component for querying and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and provision data used in Call and Y 9C reporting
  • Oversee data changes that impact regulatory reports
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place
  • Validate reported numbers
  • Support data quality and risk management processes
  • Apply data control and risk management disciplines to remediation of data quality issues
  • Identify data quality issues and drive remediation within enterprise data governance efforts
  • Use functional understanding of how regulatory data is sourced, structured, governed, and reconciled
  • Query and analyze data with basic SQL to support validations and partner with technology teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies in the professional discipline
  • Foundational understanding of related professional disciplines
  • Experience managing small projects
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to varied audiences and build consensus among stakeholders
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
  • Proficiency in English (required)
