Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements and approve user stories according to the client's Definition of Ready.
  • Determine a BA approach, gain stakeholder and team buy-in, and measure its effectiveness.
  • Work proactively toward deliverable goals and objectives.
  • Update functional documentation, including Functional Design Documents and User Guides, by independently gathering information from requirement documents, user guides, Salesforce, and issue-tracking systems.
  • Lead discovery sessions for new requirements and document user stories, flows, rules, and processes.
  • Plan for requirements reuse, considering regulatory requirements, business rules, and business processes.
  • Communicate risks and impacts of changes clearly, providing options to manage and mitigate them.
  • Present solutions to appropriate audiences, including changes to current processes and ways of working, and explain the need for system, process, or capability changes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Trace solution requirements backwards and forwards and organize traceability.
  • Build trust with stakeholders and protect the team's reputation.
  • Track, communicate, and proactively follow up on issues in priority order.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in translating business requirements into user stories and functional documentation.
  • Experience leading discovery sessions and documenting requirements, including user stories, flows, rules, and processes.
  • Stakeholder-management skills, including communicating expectations, risks, and change impacts.
  • Understanding of requirements traceability and reuse planning, considering regulatory requirements and business rules.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and issue-tracking systems for independent research and documentation.
  • Competency in presenting solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to write technical and functional documentation and communicate daily in English with senior client stakeholders.

  • Background in CPQ.
  • Experience identifying business opportunities.
