Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to translate business requirements into actionable solutions, lead discovery sessions, and manage stakeholder engagement across Salesforce implementation projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, technical documentation expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior client stakeholders on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements and approve user stories according to the client's Definition of Ready.
  • Determine a BA approach, gain needed stakeholder and team buy-in, and measure the effectiveness of the approach chosen.
  • Work proactively toward deliverable goals and objectives.
  • Update functional documentation, including Functional Design Documents and User Guides, by independently gathering information from requirement documents, user guides, Salesforce, and issue tracking systems.
  • Lead discovery sessions for new requirements and document them accordingly, including user stories, flows, rules, and processes.
  • Plan for requirements reuse, considering regulatory requirements, business rules, and business processes.
  • Communicate risks and impacts of changes clearly and provide options to manage and mitigate them.
  • Present solutions to the appropriate audience, including changes to current processes and ways of working, and explain why a change to a system, process, or capability is needed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Trace solution requirements backwards and forwards and organize traceability.
  • Build trust with stakeholders and protect the team's reputation.
  • Track, communicate, and proactively follow up on issues in priority order.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in translating business requirements into user stories and functional documentation.
  • Experience leading discovery sessions and documenting requirements, including user stories, flows, rules, and processes.
  • Stakeholder management skills, including communicating expectations, risks, and change impacts.
  • Understanding of requirements traceability and reuse planning, considering regulatory requirements and business rules.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and issue tracking systems for independent research and documentation.
  • Competency in presenting solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to write technical and functional documentation and communicate daily with senior client stakeholders in English.
