Description

Linktree is evolving into a control center for creators and businesses, with native mobile as a core delivery channel. This role is the mobile craft anchor: set and continually raise the bar for native iOS and Android across all mobile and web surfaces, ensuring the app feels like one coherent product. You will go deep where native wins (capture, notifications, on-the-go coaching, gestures, performance, and motion) and partner with Design Systems and Engineering to make patterns real in code.

Responsibilities

• Set and continually raise the bar for native iOS and Android across the entire product
• Own mobile patterns and craft standards that every pillar builds on
• Go deep where native wins: capture, notifications, on-the-go coaching, gestures, performance, and motion
• Run cross-pillar mobile review to keep the experience coherent as teams ship fast
• Partner with Design Systems and Engineering to make mobile patterns real in code, and prototype ideas to production fidelity
• Lead through influence by lifting the mobile craft of designers across every pillar

Requirements

• Obsession with deep native mobile craft; fluency with iOS and Android conventions, gestures, motion, and performance-aware design
• Significant time shipping consumer mobile products at scale across diverse user bases; portfolio shows balancing sophistication with everyday usability
• Staff-level scope: set direction and raise the bar around you, not just ship your own screens
• Low ego and high collaboration; partner with pillar design leads
• Systems thinking to design patterns that scale across surfaces and teams
• Influence without authority; make other teams better without managing them
• AI as part of how you work, with depth to push the practice forward
• Sharp product judgment; empathy for creators and the creator economy is a plus
• Mobile is your depth; strong product designer first mindset and ability to work beyond native when needed
