Description

This role leads a collaborative engineering team solving challenging electric transmission problems. You will serve as Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects for overhead and underground systems (34.5 kV to 765 kV), applying NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards. You will also independently perform engineering analyses and prepare bidding documents, plans, specifications, and material procurement and construction documents while coordinating with project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years of relevant experience designing high voltage electric utility transmission systems
• Professional Engineering registration in at least one U.S. state (or equivalent)
• Experience with PLS-CADD
• Experience with POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE and/or FAD
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and also independently
