Description

Lead end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of large-scale predictive models and algorithms. Conduct rigorous, data-driven research on how multi-faceted factors impact business outcomes and partner with senior business and engineering leaders to deliver cutting-edge, data-driven solutions. Set the standard for data science excellence and help define the long-term analytical strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of large-scale predictive models and algorithms that inform strategic business decisions and market trend analysis.
  • Design and execute rigorous data-driven research to analyze the impact of multi-faceted factors on business outcomes, tackling ambiguous and open-ended problems.
  • Collaborate with senior business stakeholders and engineering partners to identify strategic opportunities, translate business goals into analytical frameworks, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Synthesize and communicate complex methodologies, technical trade-offs, and strategic findings to C-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Mentor other data scientists to foster continuous learning, rigorous peer review, and adherence to state-of-the-art methodologies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of data science experience with a proven track record leading end-to-end successful projects.
  • Deep expertise in key data science domains (time-series forecasting, deep learning, causal inference).
  • Practical experience architecting prediction, segmentation, and NLP solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model development.
  • Hands-on experience productionizing machine learning models; familiarity with MLOps concepts and workflows.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and applying advanced methodologies to ambiguous business problems.
  • Strong clean code principles and software engineering best practices/technical standards.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking aligned to organizational goals; evaluates tradeoffs effectively.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members; overseeing project quality and investigating root causes of technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Real estate industry or other market-driven domain experience is a plus.
