Description

This Data Scientist role supports product development by performing data analyses and building solutions using AI, machine learning, optimization methods, and statistical models for next-generation ad tech products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven questions and run experiments for product and service enhancements
  • Engineer and refine algorithms, software, and automated processes for robust data integration and cleansing from multiple sources
  • Use statistical rigor and advanced data science methods to analyze large datasets and derive insights via predictive models and machine learning
  • Implement ad tech solutions leveraging statistical models and machine learning
  • Research and apply new technologies and analytical methods
  • Apply advanced data visualization to communicate key insights
  • Develop statistical and mathematical solutions to complex business problems with minimal supervision
  • Architect data mining models and protocols to discern trends and improve customer and product insights
  • Deploy predictive analytics based on historical data to anticipate customer behavior and inform business decisions
  • Synthesize forecasts and strategic recommendations using data science
  • Advance business decision-making by applying novel data science principles and emerging analytical techniques

  • Base pay range: New York $118,300.41–$177,450.62
  • Additional location pay ranges (good faith estimates): Illinois $103,512.86–$184,844.39; California $88,725.31–$164,306.12

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research
  • At least 2 years experience with Python, SQL, and analytical model implementation
  • Experience using AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake
  • Strong data mangling and ETL pipeline skills
  • Machine learning model building and evaluation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects within deadlines
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock), large language models, and AI orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
  • Experience with optimization models (Linear and Nonlinear Programming)
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau
