Description

Turn your STEM background into commercial impact through a Technical Sales Internship supporting sales operations, customer engagement, market analysis, and initiatives that help laboratories advance their science. The internship supports teams working with automated cell imaging, real-time metabolic and functional analysis, flow cytometry, genetics/genomics, and fast, reliable molecular and synthetic biology workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Connect with new and existing customers, generate and qualify leads, and support follow-up activities with sales teams.
  • Sales Operations & Campaign Support: Assist in inbound/outbound activities, track campaign performance, and maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM systems.
  • Project Ownership: Lead independent, high-visibility projects that provide meaningful value to the sales organization and customers.
  • Market Research & Sales Tactics: Analyze markets and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Product & Workflow Learning: Receive training on the instrument portfolio and workflow solutions.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be currently enrolled in their 2nd or 3rd year at an accredited university in a 4-year degree program in a STEM field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills (written, verbal, and by phone).
  • Self-motivation and a careful, detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and experience with spreadsheet data.
  • A curious mindset, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
  • Experience in customer-facing or student leadership roles (e.g., sales, tutoring, academic advising, peer ambassador programs).
