Description

The role supports analysis and development of systems for debit/credit cards, including card lifecycle, limits, blocks, and transaction processing. You will work on integrations with card processing platforms and core banking systems, including Visa/Mastercard, and perform end-to-end analysis of authorization → clearing → settlement flows in a high-availability, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional/system requirements and technical solutions
• Analyse transaction flows, message mappings, and system integrations
• Design changes across authorization, card lifecycle, transaction processing, limits, fees, and reconciliation
• Create API specifications, sequence diagrams, data mappings, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and Cards/Payments teams throughout delivery and testing
• Troubleshoot transaction issues through logs, message flows, processing errors, and data inconsistencies

Requirements

• Experience as a System Analyst / IT Analyst in banking, fintech, or Cards & Payments
• Practical understanding of authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 and card-processing integration architecture
• Experience with APIs, message flows, data mappings, and system integrations
• Strong technical documentation and requirements analysis skills
• Good English for international engineering environments
