Description

You will lead a large on-site migration project for IT infrastructure and a cloud environment in Paris. Your responsibilities include driving the discovery phase, planning, and performing cutover of legacy systems and applications, and coordinating local IT stakeholders to deliver the project from start to finish.

You will integrate the local IT team of the acquired organization with the client’s broader technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site discovery phase to thoroughly understand the current infrastructure, applications, and dependencies.
• Work closely with the local IT team of the acquired organization, the client’s IT department, and the SoftServe delivery team to produce usable discovery outputs.
• Plan and execute on-site cutover processes related to migrations that cannot be performed remotely.
• Make decisions and coordinate actions to minimize disruption and maximize migration effectiveness in the Paris location.
• Build working relationships and trust with the local IT team (primary source of knowledge of the existing environment).
• Coordinate between the client’s IT team, the acquired organization’s IT team, and the delivery team: align schedules, priorities, and dependencies to keep discovery and migration on plan.
• Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies during discovery and cutover; provide clear and timely updates for on-site stakeholder decisions.
• Represent the project approach and implementation method to client stakeholders on-site, explaining methodologies and ensuring consistency between discovery, cutover delivery, and business goals.

Requirements

• Residence in France or regular, significant on-site presence in Paris (required for the work model).
• Documented experience in end-to-end management of IT infrastructure and migration projects (from discovery through cutover).
• Ability to serve as an on-site technical representative and coordinate the project in real time.
• Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills to manage expectations and enable collaboration across teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders on the client side.
• Practical experience in regulated environments or the life sciences sector (preferred).
• Knowledge of French and English.
