Description

Join the next generation Risk Management platform development team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from analysis and design through deployment and 3rd line production support. You will design at low level, influence higher-level architecture decisions, and help deliver modern risk system software for demanding trading businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from analysis and design through to deployment and 3rd line production support

  • Design the application at low level and contribute to higher level architecture decisions

  • Provide technical guidance and influence over junior members of the team

  • Work with other team members to maintain high quality of the created code

  • Develop modern risk system software in a leading banking environment

  • Play a key role in sustaining a common risk platform serving many demanding trading businesses

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in modern Java based application development

  • Excellent understanding of core Java

  • Excellent understanding of Spring Boot

  • Excellent understanding of Microservice architecture

  • Excellent understanding of distributed system design

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology or a related field

  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Kafka, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, MongoDB and SQL

  • Nice to have: Experience in banking and financial services domain
