Description

You will develop Virtual Reality applications using Unity with a focus on VR UI/UX and an intuitive maintainability handbook workflow. The role includes implementing custom UI elements in Unity, optimizing the 3D VR environment for performance, and adding in-app features like screenshots and video recording. Work also includes packaging the app, running training, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Responsibilities

• Develop the maintainability handbook workflow through an intuitive UI in a VR setting
• Design UI/UX for VR applications, including custom icons and buttons
• Import and implement custom UI elements within Unity
• Optimize the 3D VR environment using Occlusion Culling and HDRP
• Develop UI functionality through C# scripting
• Test and debug applications to ensure high performance
• Implement features like screenshots and video recording within Unity
• Facilitate app packaging, training, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

• Proficient in C# for Unity application development
• Familiarity with the Unity Editor Library
• Experience in UI tools for creating intuitive interfaces
• Knowledge of XR toolkit (STEAMVR) for custom VR applications
• Understanding of modules like Tutorial Framework, Scene optimization, and Occlusion Culling
• Experience integrating LLM-based solutions (e.g., Azure OpenAI)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and AI services
