Description

The role supports commodity manufacturing engineering to prepare and implement products and manufacturing processes globally for battery plants. You will coordinate cross-functional, project-oriented initiatives across Manufacturing Engineering, Production facilities, and Engineering (R&D), ensuring manufacturing attributes and key performances such as quality, line balancing, cost efficiency, environment, flexibility, and changeover are achieved efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of production systems
• Implement product and manufacturing processes globally
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives within the Manufacturing Engineering organization
• Ensure manufacturing attributes are met efficiently
• Support the engineering team with technical solutions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in process design for body or battery shop (cell to pack)
• Experience in product design for manufacturing (DFA/DFM)
• Skilled in Siemens Teamcenter and Process Simulate
• Experience in robot offline programming (beneficial)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Technical education at university level or equivalent experience
• Structured way of working and good documentation skills
• Positive attitude
• Self-driven, result oriented, and flexible
