Software Engineer with Java/Linux

What you'll do

• Execute the future VCS infrastructure strategy to support 3,000+ engineers running hundreds of thousands of builds daily and beyond.
• Perform operational work to keep systems healthy and up to date.
• Develop backend systems and automation that help developers build software more efficiently.
• Drive automation and improvements for the selected VCS across current technical stacks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to define best-in-class VCS infrastructure.

Who you are

• Experienced engineer with Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experienced Java software engineer.
• Experience deploying and implementing solutions in GCP or AWS.
• Iterative mindset, focused on finding the right solution rather than the first solution.
• Focus on standardization, automation, and improving the developer experience.
• 6+ years of experience building and implementing large-scale systems across projects and teams.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
