Description

We are looking for an experienced cloud expert who combines technical knowledge with the ability to collaborate with business. The role is not only platform administration: you will help design solutions, verify implementation by technology partners, and then take responsibility for their development and maintenance. This position is for someone who is comfortable with discussions with architects and providers as well as with business teams expecting concrete results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and convert them into secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions

• Collaborate on designing solutions primarily based on Google Cloud Platform

• Perform technical verification and acceptance of work delivered by external providers

• Participate in knowledge transfer and take over environments for independent operation

• Administer and develop Google Cloud Platform environments

• Manage security, access, and cloud network infrastructure

• Automate processes using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

• Solve complex problems and incidents at an expert level (L3)

• Support migration projects and integrations between on-premise and cloud environments

• Recommend actions to increase cloud platform security, performance, and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum several years of experience in cloud environment administration and maintenance

• Very good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform

• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technology solutions

• Experience in hybrid environments (on-premise + cloud)

• Knowledge: Terraform, Linux, Kubernetes (GKE), IAM, Cloud Security, Cloud Networking (VPC, VPN, DNS, Firewall), Monitoring and Logging

• Basic knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization

• English: minimum B2/C1; Polish: C1/C2

• Ability to independently solve complex technical problems
