Senior Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of internal IT services and support their transition to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role drives automation and contributes to strategic cloud transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation and high-level security of the ITS cloud (Google Cloud Platform) and local infrastructure.
• Maintain and evolve automation and standardization across the environment using Terraform and Ansible (IaC).
• Handle 2nd- and 3rd-level support and take ownership of provided services to ensure smooth operations.
• Support ongoing cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring all infrastructure meets compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills, such as Python and Bash, for automation and tool development.
• Solid background in Linux system administration and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues at 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work in a distributed team.
