Description

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Department is seeking a full-time Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist. Provide integrated psychiatric care within an academic medical center with collaboration among psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and advanced practice providers. Facilitate psychiatry clerkship experiences for medical students and psychiatry residents; participate in weekly Grand Rounds with free CME offerings.

Responsibilities

• Provide consults from any/all units within the hospital

• Supported by a psychiatric nurse (RN) clinician

• Oversee a rotating psychiatry resident

Requirements

• New graduates or experienced physicians welcome to apply

• Consult & Liaison Psychiatry experience preferred

• Completion of ACGME approved Psychiatry Residency

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
