Description

The role provides and oversees inpatient geriatric psychiatry services on a behavioral health unit, delivering multidisciplinary behavioral health care for senior adults experiencing severe depressive, anxiety, trauma, manic, and psychotic symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients on a 15-bed, dedicated geriatric unit

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

• Develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide medication management

Requirements

• Geriatric psychiatry fellowship training preferred, but not required

• Completion of an ACGME approved psychiatry residency program

• Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment

• Visa accepted: H-1B
