Description

As a Senior Third-Party Risk Manager, you will provide expert technical advice to help stakeholders understand and assess third-party risks effectively across the organization. You will support the development and deployment of controls, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and the organization’s risk framework, while monitoring external environments for emerging third-party risks and guiding on necessary controls. You will also assist in preparing global risk and regulatory reports, including risk assessments, risk profiles, and board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical advice to ensure stakeholders understand and assess third-party risks effectively across the organization
  • Support the development and deployment of controls, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and the organization’s Risk Framework
  • Monitor external environments for emerging third-party risks and deliver detailed guidance on necessary controls
  • Assist in the preparation of global risk and regulatory reports, including risk assessments, risk profiles, and board-level reporting
  • Educate risk owners and operational teams on the effectiveness of control environments and root cause analysis of risk issues
  • Support regulatory, audit, and compliance engagements related to third-party risk management
  • Promote a strong risk culture by supporting training initiatives and capability uplift within teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of risk management experience within a globally significant financial institution
  • Deep understanding of third-party risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation strategies
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory landscapes relevant to financial institutions and third-party risk standards
  • Proven ability to lead stakeholder engagement across multi-location teams
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences
  • University degree (advanced degrees such as MSc, MBA, PhD are a plus)
  • Fluent English, with excellent command of written and spoken communication
  • Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered
