Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer, you will design and implement resilient systems while building and scaling backend platforms. You will work with small autonomous cross-functional teams (3–9 people) to translate requirements into working technology and contribute solutions from the code.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems with clean, maintainable code
• Identify issues early and propose actionable ways to fix or optimize them
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to translate requirements into working technology
• Share findings and lessons learned from the code
• Support integration of Applied AI features into client products

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience building web applications (Python or Ruby)
• Solid understanding of OOP, clean code, and software development lifecycles
• Practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proactive, curious mindset and readiness to take ownership
• AI-native workflow (e.g., Claude or Cursor)
• Great command of written and spoken English for team and client communication

Compensation

Regular Engineer: 10 000 - 13 600 PLN net + VAT
Regular+ Engineer: 14 800 - 19 300 PLN net + VAT
