Project Manager - Atlassian Migration program

About the assignment

You will lead a strategic enterprise-wide migration of the Atlassian platform from on-premise to Atlassian Cloud. This high-visibility initiative involves multiple stakeholders across Technology, Security, Risk & Compliance, and Business functions, requiring strong governance and stakeholder management throughout the program lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end migration program from Atlassian Data Center/Server to Atlassian Cloud.
• Define and manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and dependencies while coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Establish governance structures, provide regular status reporting to senior management, and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure migration activities adhere to enterprise architecture, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee testing, cutover planning, adoption, and transition to operational support.

Profile & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of project/program management experience in complex organizations.
• Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise transformation or migration projects.
• Experience managing SaaS transformation initiatives or cloud migrations.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid models.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and executive-level communications.
• Experience managing projects with significant regulatory, risk, and security considerations.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
