BI Data Engineer

We are looking for a BI Data Engineer to join a leading Swedish manufacturing company and help shape innovative solutions for a major Scandinavian automotive corporation.

You will be part of a BI team of around 60 specialists, delivering reports and dashboards based on data from multiple sources and supporting key business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Aftermarket. Working closely with both business users and technical teams, you will have the opportunity to grow within Business Intelligence while collaborating with experts in Data Lake, Advanced Analytics, and Information Management.

Choose between a B2B arrangement or an Employment Contract. B2B rate: 120–130 PLN net/hour + VAT.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, including end-to-end Power BI development, from requirements gathering and data modeling to report and dashboard deployment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including extensive use of Power Query Editor and DAX
  • At least 1 year of experience working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS and/or Snowflake
  • Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data access, and data storage concepts
  • Experience with AI-related tools and technologies, such as Visual Studio and Codex
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience working with relational databases
  • Experience working in both low-code and high-code ETL environments
  • Basic understanding of Git, including branching strategies and code management through push and pull operations
  • Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements for reporting and analytics solutions
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Located in Poland for at least 5 years

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of different storage modes and ways of optimizing DAX code, including input and dual
  • Experience with low- and high-code ETL environments, including Matilion and Azure Data Factory
