Description

As a Cybersecurity Data Leakage Prevention Engineer, you will support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Security strategies, helping safeguard information assets, ensure compliance, and strengthen resilience across a complex financial environment.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and management of DLP policies across endpoints and Data in Motion/Data in Use security solutions.
  • Administer and configure DLP agents in on-premises and cloud environments, including exceptions and policy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy automation scripts and test plans that ensure robust security controls.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to data-leakage security incidents, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Document and communicate technical solutions, maintaining clear records in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ensure compliance with global data-security policies and support regulatory audits and reporting.
  • Engage with vendors and internal teams to optimize security tools and processes in a regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Over 6 years of cybersecurity experience, focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Security.
  • Proficiency with at least two DLP products, such as Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, or Trellix.
  • Strong experience configuring and managing DLP policies, including exceptions management.
  • Demonstrable system administration, agent management, and cloud/on-premises environment skills.
  • Knowledge of Data in Motion and Data in Use security principles.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent English, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and confidently.
  • Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Preferred qualifications

  • CISSP, CISA, or vendor-specific security certifications.
  • Experience with test automation, scripting, and security incident response.
