Description

As an Expert Quantum-Safe Cybersecurity Specialist, you will help shape secure digital infrastructure by providing expertise on quantum-safe security strategies. The role focuses on protection against emerging threats and alignment with industry standards and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on quantum-safe security considerations, including cryptographic risks, key management, transport security, and crypto-agility principles.
  • Translate quantum-safe objectives into practical security requirements, guardrails, and guidance for delivery teams.
  • Review solution designs, technical approaches, and remediation patterns for alignment with security standards and controls.
  • Support threat modeling and security-by-design activities for quantum-safe initiatives.
  • Assist workstreams through discovery, prioritization, remediation, and migration-readiness phases.
  • Define security success criteria for controlled pilots and proofs of concept, supporting safe deployment.
  • Identify and articulate security risks, control gaps, and remediation actions, with rationale and evidence for risk acceptance.
  • Communicate risks, decisions, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a community of practice around quantum-safe security.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on cryptography and secure engineering, including TLS, PKI, key management, and cryptographic standards.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with strong governance and control requirements.
  • Ability to influence technical delivery outcomes through pragmatic, risk-based guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Fluent English.
  • Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with quantum-safe or post-quantum cryptography concepts and delivery implications.
  • Experience supporting large-scale security transformation programs.
  • Background in security architecture, technology risk, or formal assurance.
  • Experience in financial institutions or highly regulated sectors.
