Mid Software Engineer (Fullstack) - Smart Navigation

About the job

Join the Smart Navigation team, which helps customers quickly reach the products they are searching for. The role focuses on building systems that process offline datasets and present them in a modern way to provide effective search-result narrowing. The solutions will be used by millions of internet users.

Important things for you

• Flexible working hours in a hybrid 4/1 model, with start times between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• 30 days of occasional remote work.
• Salary range: PLN gross 14,600–20,825, depending on skills and using a contract of employment with tax-deductible costs.
• Annual bonus based on individual annual performance and company results.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality code for backend services (approximately 60% of daily work), frontend services (approximately 40%), APIs, and automation scripts.
• Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, UX designers, and engineers to gather and refine requirements.
• Share knowledge with team members and support junior engineers.
• Participate in the Software Engineer on-call rotation to support on-call engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues.

We are looking for someone who has

• Solid backend development experience, preferably with the JVM and Kotlin stack.
• Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Polish language proficiency at C1 level and English proficiency at B2 level.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with an open mindset toward AI.
• High learning agility, adaptability to change, flexibility, and strong communication and cooperation skills.
