AI Section Lead - Automation & Innovation Department

The AI Section Lead is responsible for the effective performance, growth, and delivery excellence of the AI Section. The role ensures that teams, capabilities, and processes are aligned to successfully execute the strategy defined by Unit leadership.

Acting as the organizational leader of the section, the AI Section Lead develops people, strengthens capabilities, and creates the conditions for high-performing teams. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and Scrum Masters, the role promotes collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and sustainable delivery across the organization.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and support AI engineers and Product Owners within the AI section.
• Build a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular feedback, development guidance and career support for team members.
• Identify key talent, develop successors and reduce dependency on individual experts.
• Support succession planning and growth of future leaders within the section.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and retention of AI talent.
• Stay informed about AI trends, technologies and market developments.

Delivery Excellence

• Support effective and predictable delivery of AI initiatives across the organization.
• Support Product Owners and Engineers in removing blockers and resolving dependencies.
• Monitor team capacity, workload distribution, delivery and organizational risks.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between AI teams and other business units.
• Ensure transparency of team commitments, progress and delivery performance.

Operational Management

• Manage section capacity planning and resource allocation based on defined priorities.
• Ensure effective cooperation with cloud, infrastructure, security, data teams and business stakeholders.
• Support budget planning, vendor cooperation and workforce management within the section.

What skills will be appreciated?

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Psychology or related field.
• Experience delivering complex AI and automation initiatives.
• Proven people management and talent development experience.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Engineers and business stakeholders.
• Experience managing team capacity, priorities and delivery risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of cloud-based AI platforms and software delivery environments.
