Agile Coach

We are looking to engage an experienced Agile Coach to support and strengthen current demand. We are seeking a proactive, self-driven consultant who takes initiative and actively collaborates with squads and tribe leadership.

Mobility Tribe follows its own Digital Operating Model, based on enterprise agility. The ideal candidate independently identifies improvement opportunities and helps drive meaningful organizational change rather than waiting for direction or assignments.

Experience with modern engineering practices, DevOps, and AI-enabled software development is a strong advantage. The Agile Coach will focus on enhancing value creation, delivery capability, and organizational effectiveness rather than primarily facilitating agile ceremonies. The role requires strong facilitation and visualization skills to create shared understanding across stakeholders, the ability to lead change, and a solid understanding of modern software and product development practices.

Duration: 9–12 months, full-time assignment
Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements

• The working languages are Swedish and English.
• Fluency in Swedish is required because the team primarily operates in Swedish.
• English is the primary language for collaboration across the broader Nordic tribe.
• The role is based at the Stockholm office.
• Occasional travel to Nordic offices may be required, subject to agreement with the hiring manager.
• Hybrid arrangements can be discussed; candidates able to work from the office at least three days per week are strongly preferred.

Areas Where Support Is Needed

Squad Level

• Develop and coach Scrum Masters.
• Strengthen ownership, delivery capability, and continuous improvement within squads.
• Improve flow from idea to production.
• Support teams in breaking down larger initiatives into smaller, value-delivering increments.
• Improve collaboration and coordination between squads.

Tribe Level

• Partner with the Tribe Leadership team.
• Identify improvement opportunities proactively and help drive change initiatives.
• Improve management of dependencies across squads.
• Support the continued evolution of the Needs Funnel process.
• Improve prioritization, refinement, and execution of larger initiatives.
• Help focus on work that is most important and creates the greatest value.
• Strengthen the ability to deliver value more frequently through smaller increments.
• Smooth collaboration across tribes through the common operating model.

• Stronger and more independent Scrum Masters.
• Better-managed dependencies between squads.

Profile

• Experience coaching both teams and leadership groups.
• Experience from large-scale agile organizations.
• Strong understanding of modern software development and product development practices.
• Experience working where ownership is distributed across multiple teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent facilitation skills, especially for meetings and workshops involving multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel between offices where tribe members are located when needed.
• Comfortable working in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on.
