Technical Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

The Technical Infrastructure Engineer is the primary technical expert within a Supplier Campaign Team for business units using and designing campaign solutions within PAYBACK. The role works closely with the Product Owner and Business Owner.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting during the development of new campaigns, distinguishing between standard and non-standard formats and identifying technical requirements and challenges early.
• Define required systems and evaluate and manage dependencies between systems, such as the App, Marketing Platform, and Couponing Center, in close alignment with the Product Owner.
• Connect business units with relevant technical experts and contacts within and outside the Trinity team to ensure efficient campaign execution.
• Coordinate the technical setup between Datacenter Services, the campaign-executing vendor, and the PAYBACK organization.
• Ensure clear communication and competent responses to technical queries.
• Advise on technical feasibility, performance, and scalable execution.
• Conduct deep analysis and retrospectives after campaigns to build resilient architecture.
• Support process owners in rapidly resolving technical or procedural problems during campaigns.

Profile

• Strong coordination skills and confidence managing complex processes across business areas, key stakeholders, and external providers.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics and requirements for business units.
• Container platform expertise with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of virtualization environments.
• Experience with observability tools such as Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Scripting experience, for example Python.
• Architecture understanding for modern microservice architectures.
• Fluent English is mandatory; German language skills are appreciated.
