Domain Architect R&D and QSC

The Quality, Supply Chain & R&D (QSC & R&D) Domain Architect is a senior Enterprise Architecture role within Digital & Technology (D&T), accountable for shaping and governing the end-to-end architecture across Quality, Supply Chain, and Research & Development domains. The role works in close partnership with other Domain Architects to deliver a coherent, simplified enterprise architecture.

Operating at the intersection of science, operations, and technology, this role engages closely with senior leaders including the Chief Quality Officer, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Head of R&D, and Manufacturing and Operations leadership. It also works laterally with Commercial, Corporate Functions, ERP, and Technology Domain Architects to ensure architectural decisions optimise enterprise-level outcomes, not just domain performance.

The role designs, governs, and evolves architectures that support regulated, safety-critical, and globally distributed operations, ensuring technology investments align to compliance, resilience, innovation velocity, and end-to-end value streams. A core expectation is the ability to engage, influence, and align senior business leaders and peer Domain Architects, translating complex trade-offs into clear, enterprise-aligned decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive target architectures across Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D domains.
• Ensure solutions support regulatory compliance, traceability, operational resilience, and innovation.
• Act as a trusted architecture advisor to senior business and technology leaders.
• Collaborate with other Domain Architects to deliver end-to-end enterprise value streams and aligned architecture decisions.
• Partner with the ERP Domain Architect to align SAP/ERP capabilities with business, compliance, and data standards.
• Lead platform simplification and standardization, reducing application and technology complexity.
• Embed GxP, data integrity, validation, and compliance-by-design principles into architectures.
• Govern cross-domain integrations, master data, and product lifecycle traceability.
• Enable data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities for quality, supply chain, and R&D performance.
• Provide architecture governance, portfolio guidance, and delivery support while contributing to the Enterprise Architecture community.

Your Profile

Required

• 8+ years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture, strategy, or consulting roles.
• Deep experience in regulated environments: Quality, Supply Chain, or Life Sciences.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and align senior leaders and peer architects.
• Experience architecting quality management systems, end-to-end supply chain platforms, and R&D and product lifecycle solutions.

Preferred

• Experience working closely with multiple Domain Architects and ERP/SAP architects.
• Track record of driving enterprise platform convergence.
• Exposure to AI and advanced analytics in operational domains.
• Experience operating in large, global, regulated organisations.

Remuneration

26,500 to 36,450 PLN gross per month, depending on experience and competencies. The salary range is indicative; the final offer may vary based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity considerations, location, local market conditions, and applicable pay-transparency regulations.
