Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a high-scale infrastructure platform supporting domain registration, web hosting, and SSL certificate services. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure environments while driving DevOps best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of hybrid AWS-based and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Drive DevOps best practices, standards, and technical decisions across the team.
  • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
  • Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of the platform.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues.
  • Collaborate closely with management, development, and engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to other DevOps engineers.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles, including experience in a technical leadership capacity.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and designing cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
  • Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
  • Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Strong Linux administration and Bash scripting skills.
  • Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
