Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Handle the configuration and management of AWS services.
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy microservices onto the Kubernetes/EKS platform using GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead the migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud.
• Ensure code is up to date, maintainable, scalable, and secure.
• Monitor and improve system health and performance to maximize uptime and end-user satisfaction.
• Develop, test, and maintain the toolchain and pipeline that enables continuous integration and deployment.
• Coordinate with software developers, operations teams, and other cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver systems and software within agreed-upon timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
• Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible.
• Background in Jenkins-to-GitLab migration.
• Strong scripting skills, including Shell, Python, and Ansible playbooks, for automation tasks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
