Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS services.
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy microservices to Kubernetes/EKS using GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead the migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Stay current with DevOps and cloud industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Keep code maintainable, scalable, secure, and up to date.
• Monitor and improve system health and performance to maximize uptime and end-user satisfaction.
• Develop, test, and maintain the toolchain and pipelines supporting continuous integration and deployment.
• Coordinate with developers, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver systems and software within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
• Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible.
• Experience migrating Jenkins pipelines to GitLab.
• Strong automation scripting skills, including Shell, Python, or Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
