ServiceNow Integration Engineer

Mid • On-site

Warsaw, Poland

At Procter & Gamble, the Modern IT Asset Management (ITAM) team is transforming IT asset data into a trusted, AI-ready source of truth for application and infrastructure components. The team builds data quality, integration and automation capabilities that support proactive, automation-led IT operations at global scale.

As a ServiceNow Integration Engineer, you will design and deliver the data, integration and automation backbone of the ITAM and CMDB ecosystem. You will improve Asset Data Quality and Topology Coverage, modernize ITAM data flows between systems, and enable AIOps-ready operations.

What you'll do

  • Implement and deploy scalable engineering capabilities across the ITAM and CMDB ecosystem, covering data ingestion, normalization, reconciliation, quality and reporting.
  • Build and operate automated Asset Data Quality rules and scorecards for completeness, consistency, correctness and timeliness across ITAM, CMDB and adjacent systems.
  • Engineer the Topology Coverage baseline by extending ServiceNow Discovery patterns, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules and CSDM-aligned CI relationships across priority business application clusters.
  • Develop and modernize ITAM integrations across enterprise architecture, risk/GRC, Azure/GCP discovery sources and SAP using REST, SOAP and event-driven protocols.
  • Build data products and dashboards using SQL, Power BI and ServiceNow Performance Analytics to provide actionable insights for Architecture, Security, FinOps and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Help eliminate ITAM/CMDB technical debt by reducing custom scripts, UI policies and direct integrations; favor out-of-the-box patterns and produce engineering evidence for the ServiceNow platform RFP.
  • Champion Agile, DevOps and Continuous Deployment practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews and engineering guardrails. The automated-testing target is 60% coverage from a 0% baseline.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, ITSM and SRE engineers, AI engineers and architects to align platform capabilities with business outcomes.
  • Continuously develop expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB and Discovery, as well as Agentic AI, AIOps and observability.

  • Proficiency in at least one modern language, preferably Python or JavaScript.
  • Solid SQL and relational data modelling skills, including joins, aggregations, schema design and query optimization.
  • Experience integrating systems through RESTful APIs; event-driven or messaging experience is an advantage.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals: OOP, TDD, SOLID, unit and integration testing, and SDLC.
  • Working understanding of data quality concepts and the ability to translate them into automated rules and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Willingness to learn ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB and Discovery, JavaScript and Agentic AI, and stay current with IT Asset Management, CSDM, observability and AIOps trends.
  • English proficiency and at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer, Systems or Industrial Engineering, Software Development, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM, ITAM or CMDB platforms in configuration or development.
  • Exposure to CSDM and IT asset lifecycle concepts, including Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, contracts and vendor data.
  • Experience designing and operating data-quality frameworks and reporting solutions in Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
  • Experience delivering and administering cloud solutions, preferably Azure data services such as ADF, Synapse and Data Lake, and integration services.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices, including Update Sets, ATF, Git-based workflows and automated testing.
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and exposure to Agentic AI use cases in IT operations.
