Senior AI & Platform Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI & Platform Integration Engineer to join a cross-product architecture initiative aimed at reducing deployment tool sprawl across applications and migrating them to standard technologies. This project focuses on building and implementing an AI-assisted Migration Framework using autonomous AI agents to automate application lifecycle management, streamline migrations for Lines of Business, and accelerate product upgrade cycles within a secure Sovereign Cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the core AI agent modules, including the Migration Agent for automatic artifact conversion and deployment metadata tagging.
  • Build the pre-deployment validation module to perform automated configuration checks and dependency resolution.
  • Design the deployment orchestration module to manage deployment sequencing logic.
  • Create the post-deployment verification module to serve as a copilot for human operators during validation and rollback.
  • Integrate developed AI agents with the confirmed SCS toolchain, such as Jenkins, Tekton, or ArgoCD.
  • Write robust audit logging code that captures agent decisions and reasoning, connecting it to the existing monitoring stack.
  • Maintain high code quality through unit, integration, and E2E testing, ensuring a minimum of 80% unit-test coverage.
  • Produce technical runbooks, onboarding manuals, and operational guides.
  • Support the knowledge transfer process to the operations team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with expertise in writing clean, modular, and asynchronous code.
  • Proficiency in AI-agent workflow development, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-based parsing of raw configurations or code.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and extending Kubernetes-native CI/CD tools.
  • Proven track record delivering rigorously tested code, with strong unit and integration test coverage.
  • Proven ability to build secure, robust integrations between disparate tools, microservices, and databases.
  • Skills in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Familiarity with AI and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI/Enterprise LLM APIs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps tools, including ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, and YAML.
  • Understanding of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Competency in testing tools such as PyTest, Go Test, or JUnit.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

  • Background in developing within highly secure, air-gapped, or Sovereign Cloud environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting live pipeline deployments and interacting directly with platform engineering teams.
