Description

As a Junior Backend Engineer, you will work on an international team to build new features and capabilities for an API-development solution, primarily focused on Portal, Catalog, and Studio. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX specialists, developers, and testers.

Responsibilities

• Implement new functionality in close cooperation with stakeholders.
• Build well-designed, clean applications with solid technical foundations.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Develop, debug, and modify source code and unit tests.
• Create and maintain technical and support documentation.
• Maintain test coverage.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of Java development experience, including Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3+.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and maintainable-code practices.
• Experience or knowledge of designing and consuming REST APIs and working with RDBMS, such as Postgres.
• Knowledge of design patterns and performance best practices.
• Experience using AI to accelerate development activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related domain.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
